How is a stainless steel bottle different to an aluminium bottle?
Aluminium can leach harmful substances, so in order for it to be safe as a drink bottle it has to be lined with something. The most common materials used to line aluminuum bottles are plastic resins or baked-on epoxy. These linings can leach chemicals and also have a tendancy to retain flavours, tainting the bottle.
